Six days to go before the ultimate war between VTU and 6th semester students..The final exams.
This time we were given almost a month of study holidays. You would think that there is so much time to study that I'll be fully prepared atleast this time.
Since I think there's no one else to claim this,I propose to call what I'm about to say as "Anamika's Law". Ahem.. "The more time he has,the more time he'll waste".This applies especially to VTU students crying sour grapes.

Anyway, what's lost is lost,so what if its precious time.. But hey,I did read some books(Cell, Stephen King:Read it if you can handle the gore; Congo, Michael Critchon) and saw some movies(Da Vinci code,Mask of Zorro).

One of the umpteen movies that I saw on TV was a Kannada film called Shubhamangala. One of the best. Directed by the legendary Puttanna Kanagal,its got some of the best actors in the industry,each giving his powerful best performance.Refreshingly new story,haunting song lyrics,its got the package. The best part:When angry the heroine calls the hero by his name "Prabhakara!" in such a tone that I felt like some one had slapped me hard. One song in the film I'm still humming..Its called Sooryangu Chandrangu and the first two lines go like this:

Sooryangu chandrangu bandaare munisu,naguthaatha bhuthayi manasu,
Rajangu Ranigu muridhodhre manasu,aramaneyaagenaithe sogasu.
(Does Mother Earth laugh when the Sun and the Moon fight?
If the hearts of the King and the Queen are broken,where is the splendour in the castle?)
