Today, I feel free.
Its strange 'cause I was never bound by any rope,
real or imagined.
Have you felt this way, this feeling of unbridled energy,
like something that was
holding you back for months has suddenly let go,
and now you're free to go anywhere you choose.
You're so relieved to be free
you're running like a maniac loose on the streets,
but you don't care about that because
that's how you ran when you were a kid.
Lots of possibilities lie in front of you,
hundreds of doors opened,
and all the time you can have to choose.
A thought that you're a full, real person,
who can run her own life,
to the heights of heaven or the depths of hell.
Unrepentant of the past,
because she makes her own decisions,
and if there's someone to blame, its herself.
You know that time will heal wounds,
however deep they may be,
and you're free to cry
over your loved lost ones and let it all go.
That's how I feel today, today, I feel free.

Hi. This was something that came to me in a mad rush. The only thing slowing me down was my bad typing speed. Its been months since I posted. I'm doing good. I'm reading "The Google story" and a Kannada book of short stories called "Sarasa". I'm learning German. I'm working out. I'm working. I'm trying to become a better cook. That's all.

One day shy of two months.. Thats how long its been since I posted. I'm not going to justify myself. What I did was a cardinal sin. What I'm going to do is redeem myself in the eyes of my friends. But before I do that, I would like to tell you whats going on in my life:

1) On August 23rd 2007, I turned 22. Yay!

2) I got a job. I'm officially an employee of Robert Bosch India Limited now. And a tax paying citizen of India too! I mean, I got bank statements and all that jazz!

3) I vacationed in Kodaikanal, Hyderabad, and my native Uttara Kannada. All this in ten days.(20th June 2007 to 30th June 2007)

4) I passed the VTU final semester exams. And I graduated! Well, not technically, but only the formalities are remaining.

So, coming back to where I redeem myself. Well, I'm opening a new place, where I post my stories, and related stuff. Come visit me at Stories from the Scarlet Land. I'm in a new avatar, but its still same old me. I would like your feedback, Nothingman, especially you. And I'm sorry Lucifer, to have scared you like that. I'm not going anywhere, baby.

Oh, and for the eye candy, here's a postcard view of the quaint little town of Kodaikanal.

P.S: Just because I have a new joint doesn't mean I'm shutting this down. Anamika Anyone still lives, people.
