I'm sitting in front of the window in the hall, scribbling this on a torn piece of paper. The sky looks angry today.Lighning, lots of it,and rain pouring down like there's no tomorrow. The lightning is so intense that when it flashes, for a moment its broad daylight again. The wind blows against my face, cold and hard, and brings with it the occasional rain drop.I smell wet mud in the air.I love that smell.Especially in summer.

Ma Nature roars like she's raving mad about something. There's an incredible flash of lightning.I get my ears ready for the impending thunder growl.I'm not afraid of thunder like those 60's Bollywood heroines, but,God, it was such a bolt of lightning!I close my eyes and let the barely perceptible pricks of rain fall on my face.I look back at the enourmous work load on my table. The to-do-list is endless....

Ah,what the heck, you only live once!I turn back to the window.

There is pleasure in the pathless woods,
There is rapture in the lonely shore,
There is society where none intrudes,
By the deep sea,and music in its roar
I love not man the less, but nature more.
-Lord Byron

There are two kinds of people in this world. The ones who are madly in love with nature and the ones who aren't. No in-betweens.

The admirers of nature do not need any camera to capture her sights, their eyes are enough. But armed with a digital shooting machine,
these people often tend to go on a rampage.A good photographer has a natural eye for detail, for perfection.I saw this in the works of my cousin.
His website has a plethora of beautiful pieces of frozen time. His works include obliging elephants, langouring tigers, laughing crocodiles, termite castles, ancient creepers, turkeys, orange flowers and question marks in the sky. My favourite was the sprinkler doing an embroidery pattern in the air.

A wide range of differnet delights of nature.A nice little site, with interesting comments on each photo.Well shot, magicwithlight!
