Thats German for "Hi, what's up?" Just showing off, thats all.

So..... random thoughts and events in my life:

1) Today I got into an autorickshaw whose driver, I noted, was named "Santana Krishna J". For a moment, I was "Wow! This dude is named after the God with the Gitarre! Must chat him up!", but before I could open my mouth, I realised that it was in all probability Santana (pronounced Santaaana), Sanskrit (and Hindi and Kannada) for "offspring". This is what you get for thinking in English, Anamika.

2) There's a lady at work who does not smile. I don't know her name or department, but I have never seen her without a frown on her face. She scares me more than anything in this world.

3) Two of the most fascinating questions engaging me nowadays is : How did Emily Dickinson compose so beautifully, given that she lived most of her life as a total recluse? And what made her become a recluse, given that she was quite sociable in her twenties? Hmm.

By the way:

You Act Like You Are 23 Years Old

You are a twentysomething at heart. You feel like an adult, and you're optimistic about life.
You feel excited about what's to come... love, work, and new experiences.

You're still figuring out your place in the world and how you want your life to shape up.
The world is full of possibilities, and you can't wait to explore many of them.

Shari: I can speak English, Hindi and Kannada pretty well. I learnt Sanskrit in school but I've forgotten most of it now, and now Deutsch. Apart from these languages, I like to pick up and use phrases from different languages like French, Latin, Italian, Tamil, Telugu, Bengali, etc. but I'm not in any way fluent in them. I like languages in general. :)

Nothingman:Most auto drivers are kinda cool, actually. And devadipa?? Where did you get that from?

Scribbler: Thank you! Keep on dropping by this place!

Smiling is important. I always try to smile especially while I am around strangers. The world not be very fun if no one smiled.
